1: Log in to your PayPal business account and click on “Account settings” in the top right corner
2: Select “Account access” on the left-hand side and click on “Edit” under API access.
3: Now select the link “Grant API approval” under “Preconfigured payment solution”.
4: Please enter the following in the “Username for approval for third-party providers” field: paypal_api2.adyen.com
Now click on the “Look up” button.
5: Please check the appropriate boxes as shown in the image and then click on the “Add” button.
6: Click on “Account settings” in the top right-hand corner and select “Business details” on the right-hand side. There you will find your PayPal merchant ID. Please save this.
7: Now click on “Account holder information” on the right-hand side. There you will find your PayPal e-mail address. Please save this.
8: The last step is to send the PayPal merchant ID and the e-mail address to your contact person at bezahl.de. They will take care of the configuration at Adyen. DONE!
