To create a token, please log in to bezahl.de and select Personal profile on the left-hand side.

Scroll all the way down until you reach More settings. Click on Go to token overview.

Select a validity period and optionally enter a description. The description can contain, for example, the name of the system for which you are creating the token. We recommend selecting a duration of 4 years so that you do not have to renew the token too quickly.
Once you have entered the validity period and the description, click on Create token.
The token is made up of a series of letters, numbers and special characters. Copy the token and save it in a safe place.
Please only send the token when requested by the system and then only by encrypted means, as this enables access to the organization in bezahl.de.
Caution: if you have closed the token in bezahl.de, you will not be able to view the token again.
