You can split the amount in two different ways.
Firstly, you can split the purchase price between different payment methods. For example, for a total amount of 10,000 euros, you can transfer 5,000 euros in advance using a traditional bank transfer and settle the remaining 5,000 euros using a different payment method (e.g. direct payment).
1. select the desired payment method in your payment details.
If you use direct payment, you will find the Split amount button below the amount to be paid
2. now enter the partial amount that you would like to pay using this payment method and confirm it. Payment of the partial amount will now be processed (e.g. by direct payment).
3. then select another payment method for the remaining amount.
As a further option, you can also make partial payments by means of several transfers from different accounts. Use the "I have transferred the amount" button to inform the seller that you have selected the classic bank transfer payment method.
Tip: This allows you and your seller to keep track of the transfers made. Depending on the amount of the partial amount, it may not be necessary to increase the transfer limit.
