International payments

General (independent of aufinity.com)

Within the EU

The European Directive stipulates a maximum duration of 1 day for an international transfer within the European area.

The decisive factor here is the currency; if this differs from the euro, the international transfer can also take 4 banking days.

Bank checks (e.g. money laundering) can also extend this status so that the money is received within this prescribed day, but visibility is delayed until all uncertainties have been clarified.

Outside the EU
Outside the European area, a transfer can take up to 7 days (1 week). Exotic currencies can take even longer.

Special aufinity.com

Due to changes in the purpose of use, a foreign transfer that is NOT directed to the vIban can also take longer than the above-mentioned periods for allocation/posting.
